Jerry Ross at The Gordon Hotel
This summer, The Gordon Hotel is proud to host a landmark retrospective honoring the life and work of Jerry Ross. Artist, educator, activist and founder of the “American Verismo” movement: a practice rooted in bold structure, expressive brushwork and a deep commitment to truth in everyday life.
Ross’s paintings are meant to be experienced. Up close, they pulse with raw, expressive energy. Step back, and they resolve into striking, cohesive scenes: portraits, landscapes and moments shaped by light, shadow and intention.
While you’re here, linger. Let the work draw you in. This retrospective is more than an exhibit; it’s an experience that offers a rare look at Ross’s singular vision and lasting impact on Eugene’s cultural landscape.
The exhibit is open to guests and the public, with all works available for purchase.
